Westminster provides structured youth fellowship for children and young adults from second grade through high school. As Westminster has an active Sunday School program, the "youth groups" are set up to help the youth of Westminster and their friends learn how the Lord works in their lives on a daily basis and how they can be a powerful voice for their Lord.

Our programs meet weekly from September to May. We follow the public school schedule in terms of vacations and holiday weekends. Each meeting is led by the Youth Director and at least one assistant. There is no cost for our programs but we do ask that you set an example for your child and occasionally volunteer with a servant's heart.

Wednesday Club (Elementary School Youth Group):

  • Wednesdays from 5:00 to 6:30 PM
  • Wednesday Club provides elementary school children (2nd through 5th grade) a weekly fellowship meeting that involves:

    • Encouragement to "Live for Christ," to carry out His plan for them at home, school and in their community
    • Fun and games
    • Activities that glorify God's love and care and help teach social skills to His most precious children
    • International Dinner
    • Soup and bread supper

J.A.M. (Jesus and Me) (Middle School Youth Group):

  • Sundays from 5:30 to 7:00 PM
  • Our middle school group is for grades 6 through 8. At a time in their lives when every move seems to be filled with doubt, this fellowship concentrates on assuring younger teens that they are never alone in the Lord's sight.

    • They are encouraged to ask themselves the question, "How will you make your mark?"
    • They participate in "See You at the Pole", a national prayer movement that gives young adults a forum in which to pray for their schools, fellow students, and families.
    • Wintercamp at Lake Champion. Sponsored by Young Life, this retreat is an opportunity for Christian fellowship and redemption.
    • Activities
    • Bible study
    • Live discussion
    • Games
    • Exercises designed to examine one's faith
