Each of our lives, as individuals and as members of Westminster, is connected to Christ, the 'living vine' (John 15:5) who connects us to the Living God. Even the most mundane day provides us with experiences that show us that God is working in our lives. If we are truly alive we are growing, and we need to grow in Christ together. Everyone in our church is at a different place in his or her faith journey, but we will grow together in Christ if we serve Him. How do we serve Him? By being faithful to the commitments we have made as Jesus' disciples, as members of His church with tasks that are all needed for this Westminster body of Christ to grow. We want to grow in spiritual maturity, in knowledge, and in wisdom as well as in numbers. If we are faithful, God will be faithful to us. ("…It is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful." 1 Corinthians 4:2).

Funds come from a variety of sources: Operating budget, individual designated gifts and fundraisers, special offerings, and continuing mission support provided by the youth and deacons.

Westminster provides direct support for four children: A 12-year-old girl in the Dominican Republic and a 9-year-old boy in the Philippines through Children's International and two children at the Newark Christian School through World Impact.
